not only includes her beautiful paintings of Oman but glass sculpture of Bedouin Masks and Omani Khunjars.
For us this rounded off what could be a Dutch themed week, as earlier we visited ‘Festival City’ in Dubai and enjoyed Dutch Pancakes,

smaller than the English equivalents and a little less sweet (as I always swamped mine with sugar – and lemon to tone down the sweetness a bit).
Both these memories of Holland will be remembered when Queen Beatrix pays a State Visit to Oman early in 2012.
