Her accompanist was Mark Markham who, remarkably for a pianist
We enjoyed an evening of Gershwin and Felix Mendelssohn at the Royal Opera House , while Thunder & Lightning played outside around Muscat.
Gershwin’s music was An American in Paris and Rhapsody in Blue with piano performance by Alexei Volodin, the acoustics of the auditorium showed off the individual performers superbly.

It was really nice to show Ginny Buckley and her filming crew around Oman.
They were here to do a program for the Travel Channel and as they have been into Oman before we think this one should be well worth seeing especially as it not only covers Oman’s dramatic scenery but also the wonderful Royal Opera House.
